Company Philosophy

For many years the example of the windsurfer is with me. Used by me in countless conversations with employees and in presentations. It never became obsolete, it‘s still very up-to-date.

A windsurfer having the task to start at A and to end at B will never be able to sail on a straight line. Too many different factors are influencing his course on the way. Wind, current and waves have often an unforeseeable impact. Nevertheless, a specialist on the board can master all these challenges, if he knows what to do and how to do it, and if he has a nose for expecting the unexpected.

However, one thing leads directly to disaster. That is trying to extrapolate the due course by analyzing the wake. That means, don‘t look back. There is only one reason to catch a glimpse backwards, that‘s to check the position of your competitors. For your own position looking backwards is meaningless. Yet after the race it‘s time to analyze weaknesses and strengths, and to eliminate the weaknesses by selective training.

With all that you will beat your competitors, but you can‘t rest on your laurels.

That‘s the Foundation of my Understanding of Fast and Effective Acting in Nowadays Highly Volatile Markets.
